1. Select your URL and blog name

When starting to blog first you must select your blogging software and you URL and blog name. Once when you selected those stick with them. Do not change you blog name or URL. By changing your URL you will lose your position in the search engines.


2. Select blog topic - niche

Choose the topic subject for your blog. Select it based on your skill and knowledge. The main point is that it should be something you can write about consistently. You can consistently write posts if you have good understanding of topic.

3. Start writing

After you have everything setup start adding your first post. This is the main part. Try to write good and unique content. At first it may be harder that you thought but as you write more articles it will get easier.

4. Spread the word

After you have setup your blog and written some articles it is time to tell everybody about your blog. First thing is submission to search various engines and website directories. You constantly have to research and inform yourself about new things in your niche and latest trends in blogging. Do a regular research on your topic and there will always be something new. Read what others have written on specified subject.

6. Interact with your visitors

When first comments start to appear on your posts be sure to read them and answer to all of them.

7. Constantly write new posts

Writing new good posts can be very difficult and time consuming. So set yourself with an pace that you can keep up so you can constantly bring up new content to your blog. Your posts are the main reason why your visitors will return to your blog.
